Interior Design- Planning and decorating inside spaces.
Residential Interior Design- Designing homes and private spaces.
Commercial Interior Design- Designing public places (restaurants, offices, stores).
Resume- A paper that shows your skills and work experience.
Internship- Temporary job to learn skills.
Job Shadowing- Watching someone do their job to learn.
Service Learning- Learning by helping in the community.
Apprentice- A beginner learning a job from a skilled person.
Work Samples / Artifacts- Examples of your work (drawings, photos, models).
Digital Copy Portfolio- A collection of work examples on a computer.
Traditional Portfolio- A paper collection of work examples.
Code of Ethics - Rules for good behavior in work.
Interior Design Process- Steps designers follow to complete a project.
Pre-Design- First step: talking with the client about needs.
Programming- Step 1: Collecting facts and client needs.
Client Program- A list of what the client wants and needs.
