| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Constant | A constant is a fixed value (like in math) that can NOT be changed in any way possible. |
| Variable | A variable is something that can be controlled, and either dependent or independent. |
| Dependent variable | This variable can only change in response to the independent variable |
| Experimental group | A experimental group is different than a controlled/control group in a scientific experiment, hypothesis, or research, because it isn't controlled, it can go the way physics allows. |
| Independent Variable | The variable in a experiment or a scientific sequence that is always changed |
| Inference | The thing scientists LOVE to use after asking questions, what is that called? An inference! |
| Observation | The act of observing and writing off of what happens during an experiment and how everything is sequenced. |
| Peer review | Scientists act as peers by sharing their findings by publishing their hypotheses, experimental methods, results, and analysis in scientific journals |
| Bias | A bias is a personal thing rather than actual scientific research and evidence, and it is always either with or against something. |
| Controlled group | Its exposed to the same conditions as the experimental group except for its changes in the independent value. |
