Constant something staying without change
Variable something you control how much is changed
Dependent variable changes in repsonce to the independent variable
Experiment Group group that receives special treatment for the experiment to see different outcomes
Independent Variable purposely changed for experiment
Inference logical interpretation based on what scientist already know
Observation act of noticing something and describing events in a careful, orderly way
Peer review Sharing experiments for other people to see who work in the same field
Bias personal rather then scientific point
Controlled group exposed to the same conditions as the experimental group except for the changes in the independent variable
