Recurso Natural Materiales que vienen de la naturaleza y que las personas usan para vivir o fabricar cosas, como el agua, los árboles, los minerales y la luz del sol.
Recurso Renovable Un recurso natural que puede volver a producirse en poco tiempo de manera natural, como la luz del sol, el viento o las plantas.
Recurso No Renovable Un recurso natural que tarda millones de años en formarse y no puede reemplazarse rápidamente, como el petróleo, el carbón o el gas natural.
Contaminación Sustancias dañinas que se agregan al aire, al agua o al suelo y afectan al ambiente y a los seres vivos.
Mitigación Acciones que se toman para reducir o disminuir el daño al medio ambiente.
Impacto El efecto o cambio que algo produce en el medio ambiente.
Destrucción del Hábitat Cuando los lugares naturales donde viven las plantas y los animales se dañan o se destruyen.
Distribución Cómo los recursos naturales están repartidos o ubicados en diferentes lugares de la Tierra.
Población : el número de personas (o seres vivos) que viven en un lugar determinado
Per cápita: la cantidad de algo por persona
Agotamiento (depletion): cuando un recurso se usa más rápido de lo que puede recuperarse
Deforestación: cortar una gran cantidad de árboles en un área
Conservación : proteger y cuidar los recursos naturales para que duren más tiempo
