Chordate members of Phylum Chordata have notochord, nerve cord and pouches in throat area.
Notochord flexible rod that supports a chordates back.
vertebra backbone made up of a stack of many small bones called vertebrae and each one has a hole in it.
Ecthotherm An animal that produces little internal body heat. Its body temperature changes with temperature changes in its environment
Endotherm animal that controls the internal heat it produces and regulates it owns temperature.
Characteristics of chordate/vertebrate They all have a notochord, a nerve chord and pouches in throat. Most also have a backbone.
Difference between ectotherm and endotherm Ectotherm produces little body heat-fish endothermic controls the internal heat and have adaptations like sweat glands fur and feathers.-rabbit
