| Tissue | A group of similar cells that form a specific function. |
| Organ | A body structure that is formed through many types of tissues that work together. |
| Radial symmetry | A body plan in witch any number of imaginary lines that can all pass through a central point divide the animal into two mirror images. |
| Bilateral symmetry | A body plan in witch any single imaginary lines that can divides the body into left and right sides that are mirror images of each other. |
| Describe an animals body plan? | The organization of an animals cells into higher levels of structure, including tissues, organs, and organ systems, helps describe an animals body plan. |
| How are the structures of animals related to their symmetry? | Asymmetrical= only made of cells, Radial= have complex body plans body, bilateral=have organ systems. |
| What does asymmetrical mean. | Asymmetrical means animals with no symmetry such as a sponge. |
| What does radial symmetry mean. | Radial symmetry means if many imaginary lines can be drawn through a central point divide point divide it into two mirror images such as a star fish. |
| What does bilateral mean. | Bilateral symmetry means if only one line of symmetry can be drawn to divide it into to mirror images such as a crab. |
