Nucleus BRAIN of the cell
Mitochondria The “POWERHOUSE” of the cell- transforms food into energy.
Endoplasmic Reticulum The MAIL MAN - moves material around in the cell.
Centriole Animal cells ONLY - Helps with Cell division.
Ribosomes PROTEIN FACTORY Makes protein for the cell.
Vacuole STORAGE CENTER Temporarily stores items needed by the cell.
Golgi Bodies POST OFFICE - helps package materials for transport in a cell
Cytoplasm HOLDS IT ALL TOGETHER Gel like substance that hold organelles.
Cell Wall Plants ONLY- provides protection and structure for a plant cell.
Chloroplast Plant cell ONLY- Photosynthesis turning sunshine into food.
