Homeostasis The condition in which an organisms internal environment is kept stable in spite of external conditions.
Vertebrate An animal with a backbone.
Invertebrate An animal without a backbone.
Adaptions An inherit behavior of physical characteristic that helps an organism survive and reproduce in its environment.
3 things that animals have in common 1. Made up of cells. 2. Need all the same things to live. 3.All animals have cells.
4 functions of animals The main functions of an animal are to obtain food and oxygen, keep internal conditions stable, move in some way, and reproduce.
How animals are classified 1. Body structure, 2. Animal development, 3. Its DNA.
