TermDefinition
Cell membrane The cell membrane is just like A gate it lets stuff and it out
Nucleus The nucleus is like the brain of the cell
Organelle It’s a structure inside of a cell that carries out specific functions carries a specific function
Ribosome Ribosomes function as factories to produce proteins
Cytoplasm The cytoplasm includes a gel like fluid, in which many different organelles are found
Mitochondria Most of the cells energy is produced within these rod shaped organelles
Endoplasmic reticulum This is the net work of passage, ways carries materials from one part of the cell to another
Golgi apparatus The Golgi body is basically Amazon It It receives stuff on the Endo plasmic, reticulum and sends them to other parts of the cell
Vacuole Sup animal cells have vacuoles that store, food, water, waste, and other materials
Lysosomes The small organelles contain chemicals that break down food particles
Multicellular Multicellular means it has many cells
Unicellular Uni cellular means One
Tissue It’s what animals and plants are made of.
Organ A heart of a lung.
Organ system Organs working together.
Specialized cells Cells that Specific jobs they are doing in a cell.
What is in side of the nucleus The DNA
The difference between animal and plant cells structures Cell wall chroplasts vaucolue
What the endoplasmis reticulum does for the ribosomes To make and transport proteins.
Where are ribosomes made And why are they so important They are important because they proteins And they’re made in the nucleolus
