Cell cycle The regular sequence of growth and division that cells undergo.
Interface THE stage of the cell cycle that takes place before cell division occurs.
Replication The processes by which a cell makes a copy of the DNA in its nucleus
Mitosis The stage of the cell cycle during the cells nucleus divides into two nuclei and one copy of the DNA is distributed into each data cell.
Chromosomes A double rod of condensed chromosome contains DNA that carries genetic information
Cytokinesis The final stage of the cell cycle in which the cell cytoplasm divides distributing the new organelle to each of the two new cells.
What takes place in the three stages of the cell cycle The cell copy of its DNA and its centrioles chromatin in the nucleus, condenses to form chromosomes, the chromosome lineup at the center of the cell, the centromeres split the chromosomes, begin to stretch out centromeres split splits in 2
