TermDefinition
Cell cycle Interphase ,mitosis, cytokines.
Inerphase The stage of the cell cycle that takes place before cell division occurs.
Replication The process by which cells makes a copy of the DNA in its nucleus.
Mitosis The stage of the cell cycle during which the cells nucleus divides into two nuclei and one copy of the DNA is distributed into each daughter cell.
Chromosomes A double rod of condensed chromatin; contains DNA that carries genetic information.
Cytokines The final stage of the cell cycle in which the cells cytoplasm divides.
What takes place during the three stages of the cell cycle. Interphase= cell makes a copy of its DNA, Mitosis nucleus condenses to form chromosomes,Cytokines cell membrane pinches around the middle of the cell.
DNA copies itself. The bases one side of the ladder pair with the bases on the other side.
