Cell cycle The regular sequence of growth and division that cells undergo
Interphase The stage of the cell cycle that takes place before cell division occurs
Replication The process by which a cell makes a copy of the DNA and its nucleus
Mitosis Toes the state of the cell cycle during which the cells nucleus divides into two nuclei in one copy of the DNA distributed into each 2 daughter cells
Chromosomes A double rod condensed chromatin that contains DNA that carries genetic information
Cytokinesis The final station the cell cycle in which the cell cytoplasm divides to distributing the organelles into each of the two new cells
What happens during the three stages of the cell cycle? The cell is becoming full, grown and splitting apart to become two new daughter cells
