Cell cycle Cell cycle is when the cell splits into two daughters cells
Interphase During interphase the cell grows and makes a copy of its DNA and prepares to divide into two cells
replication Replication is the process by which a cell makes a copy of the DNA in its nucleus
mitosis Is the stage during which the cells nucleus divides into two nuclei
Chromosomes A double rod of condensed chromatin; contains DNA that carries genetic information
cytokinesis The final stage of the cell cycle in which the cells cytoplasm divides distributing the organelles equally
