| Caudal | Opposite cephalic, pertaining to or situated near the tail |
| Coronal | equivalent of Frontal, Pertaining to vertical plane dividing body into anterior and posterior portions |
| Inferior | Opposite of Superior, situated below |
| Proximal | Opposote of distal, Situated nearest the center of the body |
| Transverse | Pertaining to horizontal plane dividing the body into upper and lower portions |
