| Organelle | A tiny structure that carries out a specific function in a cell |
| Ribosomes | A small grain -like structure in the cytoplasm of a cell where protein are made |
| Cytoplasm | The region between the cell membrane and the nucleus in an organism without a nucleus the region located inside a cell membrane |
| Mitochondria | A rod -shaped structures the convert energy in food molecules to energy the cell can use to carry out its functions |
| ER | A cell structure that forms a maze of passageways in which proteins and other materials are carried from one part of the cell to another |
| Golgi apparatus | A structure in a cell that receives proteins and other materials from the endoplasmic reticulum packages them and distributes them to other parts of the cell |
| Vacuole | A sack -like organelle that stores water, food and other material |
| Lysosomes | A small round cell structure containing chemicals that break down large food particles into smaller ones |
| Multicellular | More then one cell |
| Unicellular | one cell |
| Tissue | a group of similar cells that perform a specific foundation |
| Organ | A body structure that is composed of different kinds of tissue that works together |
| Organ System | A group of organs that work together to perform a major function |
| Specialized cells | A group of cells that perform a group of functions |
| List the inside of a Nucleus | A nucleolus |
| What is the difference between animal and plant cells | 1 vacuole 2 cell wall 3 chloroplast |
| What does Er do for the ribosomes | It carries it hrough it passageways |
| Where are ribosomes made | The ribosome are made in the nucleolus |
