What does a cell do? Obtain oxygen getting rid of a waste, obtaining food and growing
State what cell theory says All living things are composed of cells. Cells are the basic units of structure and function in living things. All cells are produced from other cells.
What are the scientist and their discoveries? Robert Hook (first described cells) Antoni van Leeuwenhoek (observed living cell like bacteria) Mattias Schleiden and Rudolph Virchow (stated that cells arise from pre-existing cels.)
