Cell Theory Widely excepted explanation of the relationship between cells and living things.
What does a cell do? Cells obtain food, get oxygen, get rid of waste, grow, and reproduce.
State what cell theory says Cell theory says all living things are composed of cells, cells are the basic unit of structure and function in living things, and all cells are produced for other cells.
Name the scientists and Thierry discoveries Schleiden concluded all plants have cells. Schwann concluded animals have cells. Virchow concluded cells are made by other cells. Robert hook discovered cells from a cork. Anton Von Leewenhook discovered cells that are living.
