Bubble diagram A simple map using circles to show rooms and how they connect.
Block diagram A more detailed room map showing clearer room shapes.
Circulation pattern The paths people walk through a space.
Traffic pattern How people commonly move in a space.
Private zone Spaces meant for personal living.
Public/Social zone Shared areas like the entry, living room, or dining room.
Work zone Areas where work or tasks are done.
Open floor plan Large shared space with rooms combined.
Semi-open floor plan Mix of open and closed spaces with partial walls.
Chroma therapy Using colored light to help people feel calm.
Primary bathroom Main bedroom's private full bathroom.
En-suite bathroom A bathroom attached to a bedroom.
Jack and Jill bathroom A bathroom shared between two bedrooms.
Conversation grouping Furniture arranged to help people talk easily.
Flex room A room that can change purpose as needed.
Work triangle Main kitchen work points: sink, stove, refrigerator.
