Tropism When a plant grows away or towards a stimuli
Hormone A chemical produced by a plant that affects how the plant grows and develops
Photoperiodism A plants response to seasonal changes in the length of the night and day
Critical night length When plants will only bloom when the night last a certain length of time
Dormancy Dormancy helps plants survive in freezing temperatures and a lack of liquid water.
List three stimuli that produce plant responces Touch, gravity and light
