Polar Molecule A molecule that has a partial positive and partial negative end
Organic Macromolecule Molecules important for life. Based on the element carbon
Monomer The building block of a polymer or macromolecules
Polymer Many monomers put together to make a large molecule
Nucleic Acid Stores and transmits genetic or hereditary information
Carbohydrates Sugar that give cells short term (quick) energy
Proteins Provides structure, aids in transport, and important for defense, growth and repair
Lipids Provides long term energy and insulation for organisms
Hydrogen Bond An attraction between the positive hydrogen of one molecule and partial negative area on a different molecule
