Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association Commission that accredits dental, dental assisting, dental hygiene, and dental laboratory educational programs
Dental treatise Formal article or book based on dental evidence and facts
Forensic dentistry Area of dentistry that establishes the identity of an individual on the basis of dental evidence such as dental records, impressions, bite marks, and so forth.
Periodontal disease Infections and other conditions of the structures that support the teeth
Preceptorship Study under the guidance of a dentist or other professional
Saint Apollonia Recognized as the Patroness of Dentistry
Silver amalgam paste A mixture of mercury, silver, and tin
Teledentistry The process of using electronic transfer of images and other information for consultation and/or insurance purposes in dentistry
