Nucleus The brain of the cell that helps with growth and reproductions. In both animal and plants.
Nucleolus Produces the cells Ribosomes
Chromosomes Type of Proteins that contain DNA. In both animal and plants.
Ribosomes Helps make protein. In both animal and plants.
Mitochondria Converts sugar into energy. In both animal and plants.
Cell Membrane Only allows some molecules to go in and out of the cell. 2 Phosphorous layer that are interconnected. In both animal and plants.
Cytoplasm Fluid that allows organelles and other things in cells to move around. In both animal and plants.
Centrioles Helps with cell division. Only in Animals.
Lysosomes Breaks down food, invading bacteria and old damaged organelles. Only in Animals.
Vacuoles Stores water, minerals and vitamins. This organelles is more bigger in plants. In both animal and plants.
Golgi Bodies Modifies and packs proteins from Rough E.R. In both animal and plants.
Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum Produces and stores proteins. In both animal and plants.
Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum Produces and stores fats. In both animal and plants.
Chloroplast Uses sunlight to make food. Photosynthesis: CO2 + H2O + light-> sugar + O2. Only in Plants.
Cell Wall Supports the cells. It doesn't allow anything past it. Only in Plants.
Osmosis Movement of water from a area from high concentration to low concentration.
Permeable Allows any molecules to diffuse membrane
Semi - Permeable Some can be diffused
Non - Permeable Nothing can be diffused
Diffusion Movement of molecules from a area from high concentration to low concentration
