Atmosphere Layers between Earth and space, air
Hydrosphere All water in/on/above the Earth
Geosphere Earth Ex) Soil, rocks
Biosphere All living things on Earth and the non-living things they interact with. (Sky-yes, Earth's core - no)
Biomass The amount of organic material in an ecosystem Ex) Living and decomposing matter
Biodiversity The number of different species found in an area. Greater Biodiversity gives greater stability to an ecosystem
