What is the role of the nucleus? It is the brain of the cell and controls all the function in the cell. It also contains the genetic material
What is the role of the cytoplasm? This is a jelly like substance. All the chemical reactions take place in the cell.
What is the role of the mitochondria? They are the power stations of the cell and store energy.
What is the role of the cell membrane? Keeps all the cytoplasm in place.Controls what substances can come in and out of the cell.
What is the role of the lysosome? The rubbish collector. Lysosomes digest waste products and broken parts of cells
What is the role of the vacuole? The vacuoles store food or waste products
