Active listening a technique in communication that requires a listener to focus, understand, respond and then remember what the speaker said.
Attire choices clothing worn by individuals for the use of fun, functional and seasonal styles and desires.
Client Profile a list of questions that helps an interior designer get to know a client's needs and expectations.
Dress code a set of rules and/or expectation of required clothing that sets an imposed standard.
Etiquette certain social rules that suggest acceptable behavior.
Interpersonal communication the process and skills used to communicate thoughts, ideas, and feelings to another person.
Letter of introduction first impression to prospective employers or colleges that highlights one’s interest, academic and career goals, skills and abilities related to the position or school, and explains why the business or school should select that individual.
Letters of recommendation a written statement from another person, such as a teacher, counselor, present or past employer, regarding one’s credibility as a student or employee.
Personal Bio is a concise introduction that provides a summarized version of your professional accomplishments, your credentials and education, and other information that makes you who you are.
Portfolio a collection of documents used in interviews that showcases an individual’s growth of knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Reference an individual that employers can contact to verify work experience, personal character, etc.
Résumé a brief summary of a person’s education, skills, work experience, activities, and interests.
Design budget the amount of money that is allocated to a design project.
