| Photoperiodism | A plant’s response to seasonal changes in the length night and day. |
| Critical night length | the number of hours of darkness that determines whether or not a plant will flower. |
| Dormancy | A period of time when an organism’s growth or activity stops. |

| Give a example of positive and negative tropism | Positive- leaves going to the light… negative- leaves going away from the darkness. |
