| Phloem | The vascular tissue through which food moves |
| Xylem | Xylem roots absorb water and minerals from the soil |
| Frond | Fern leaves divided into many smaller parts that look like small leaves |
| Pollen | Tiny structures that contain the cells that will later become sperm cells |
| Seed | Structure that contains a small plant inside a protective covering |
| Gymnosperm | Seed plat that produces naked seeds |
| Angiosperm | Plant that produces seeds enclosed in a protective fruit |
