| Receiver | The person who receives a message |
| Body language | The way a person's body movements communicate their feelings or thoughts |
| Eye contact | Looking directly into someone's eyes, which can be a sign of trust or honesty |
| Facial expression | The look on someone's face that conveys their emotions |
| Gesture | A motion of the hands or body that emphasizes a feeling or thought |
| Posture | Standing or sitting with a straight back and not slouching, a body language look of confidence |

| Employee Expectations | What is expected of the employee to get the job done |
| Unprofessional | Not conforming to the standard of professions: at variance with of contrary to professional standards or ethics |
| Team player | Someone who works well with a group and prioritizes the group's success over their own |
| Teamwork | The collaborative effort of a group of individuals working together towards a common goal |
| Collaboration | Working together closely with a group of people |
