Omnivore an animal or person that eats food of both plant and animal origin.
Trophic Levels the position of an organism in the food chain
Food Chain a series of organisms that eat one another so that energy and nutrients flow from one to the next.
Food Web a visual way to show what the organisms in a habitat eat
Energy Pyramid a model that shows the flow of energy from one trophic, or feeding, level to the next in an ecosystem
Detritivore an animal which feeds on dead organic material, especially plant detritus
Decomposer organism that breaks down dead organic material
Primary Production the rate at which plants produce biomass per unit area,
