Organism An individual animal, plant or single celled life form.
Organ system A group of organs that work together to maintain homeostasis within an organism.
Organ A collection of tissues that form a functional unit to do a specific job, ex the heart pumps blood around the body.
Tissue A group of cells that work together to do a job.
Cells The smallest unit that can live on its own and that makes all living organisms and the tissues of the body.
Organelles A structure in a cell that has one or more specific job.
Diffusion The movement of molecules from areas of high concentration to areas of low concentration
