Purpose of Lab Testing to help determine patient state of health/ and or disease
Recording patient state of health blood tests performed to assure healthy normal ranges --also known as reference values,--once a refence of base line is established we can use base line to see if any future refence values are different .. if dif we know something is happening.
Asymptomatic conditions is when patients is unaware of any difference in his/ her condition, exhibting no symptoms.. but during routine check up something is found but patient has no symptoms
subjective vs objective diagnosis is when subjective diagnosis is when a patient complains of symptoms and describes it. An Objective diagnosis is when data compiled is thru clincial examination. The doc may determine a diagnosis w/o aid of lab tests
Confirming a Clinical Diagnosis is when a doctor confirms his determination of illness with clinical lab tests
differentiate between 2 or more diagnosis is when symptoms are related to more then one disease or problem and a doc performs simple and least invasive tests to diagnosis a disease
Diagnosising... is when symptoms are vague and dif to diagnosis for doc. Group testing or profile testing is done. to help narrow diagnosis
to determine effectiveness of treatements is after a patient is diagnosed, doc monitors . --blood tests may be used to determine effectiveness ( dietary or lifestyle changes )

Pancreatitis is what ? inflammation of the pancreas, an organ that makes the hormones insulin and glucagon. These two hormones help control the body's metabolism. The pancreas also makes other hormones and enzymes that help you digest food.
sx of pancreas ? An attack of pancreatitis usually causes moderate to severe pain in the upper area of the belly (abdomen).
