How many test tubes do we put beetroot in? 2
What is the difference between the two test tubes we use? One is at room temperature, one is heated in a water bath at 90 degrees
Does more pigment leak out of the room temperature test tube or the 90 degrees test tube? Why? The 90 degrees test tube, as the cell membrane of the beetroot is damaged, allowing more pigment to leak out
What 2 factors do we control in this experiment? 1. Volume of water used 2. Dimensions of each beetroot
What are we changing in this experiment? The temperature of the environment
