Does Huntington Disease affect the nerve cells? Yes, Huntington diseases affects the nerve cells so that a person loses muscle control.
If you have Down Syndrome, would you have 1 or 2 extra chromosomes? Down Syndrome occurs when you have 1 extra chromosome.
What is the short-term definition for Phenylketonuria? PKU is the short-term definition for Phenylketonuria.
Is a gene a full DNA strand? No, a gene is a segment of a DNA strand.
What is a nucleotide A nucleotide consists of two nitrogenous bases.
What is the process of combining genes from one organism to another? This process is called Genetic Engineering.
What is Mutation? Mutation occurs when the codon sequence in the gene segment of the DNA strand is changed in the order it was in.
What is a mutagen? Radiation or a chemical substance which causes mutation.
Does cloning occur in plants naturally? Yes, cloning occurs in plants naturally because cutting off a plant can grow a new plant when you root them.
