What happens if a plant doesn't get enough magnesium? It's leaves will turn yellow
What use is magnesium for plants? It's required for making chlorophyll
What happens if a plant doesn't get enough potassium? It will have poor flower and fruit growth along with discoloured leaves
What use is potassium for plants? It helps the enzymes needed for photosynthesis and respiration
What happens if a plant doesn't get enough phosphates? It will have poor root growth and it's older leaves will turn purple
What use are phosphates for plants? Contain phosphorus for making DNA and cell membranes. Also needed for respiration and growth
What happens if a plant doesn't get enough nitrates? It will be stunted and older leaves will turn yellow
What use are nitrates for plants? What use are nitrates for plants?
What will happen to a plant if they don't get enough mineral ions? It will suffer deficiency symptoms
