Aggregation when a combination of cells put together are counted as one
Differentiation The process by which cells or tissues undergo a change toward a more specialized form or function, especially during embryonic development
Septa A dividing wall or partition, a general term for such a structure. The term is often used alone to refer to the septal area or to the septum pellucidum
Haversian Canal Any of the small vascular canals at the center of the osteon, running longitudinally to the length of a bone, and containing blood vessels, nerves and lymphatics
Actin Myosin Actin filaments, usually in association with myosin, are responsible for many types of cell movements
Myofibril Long, cylindrical organelle in striated muscle cells, composed mainly of actin and myosin filaments that run from one end of the cell to the other.
Sarcomere repeating subunit from which the myofibrils of striated muscle are built.
