Personal finance Vocabulary
| Term | Definition |

| Income | Money received from work, investments, or other financial support. |
| Mortgage | House payment |
| Fixed Expenses | An expense that will be the same total amount regardless of changes. :Mortgage, car payment, etc. |
| Non-fixed expenses | Expenses that will change. :Gas, food, birthday party's,etc. |
| Minimum wage | Lowest wage permitted by law, in the U.S. it is $7.25. |
| Wage/Salary | Terms for one's work-related earnings |
| Budget | A plan for spending money |
| Expenses | Financial obligations such at bills |
| investments | the action or process of investing money for profit |
| Risk and Return | for investments, the higher the risk, the higher the return. The more you invest the more you can possibly get in return |
| Savings | Money set aside for later use for emergencies |
| Debt | Money owned |
| Interest | Percent that has to be payed back+loan |
| Loan | A sun of money must be payed over time |
| Lender | An individual, bank company, who loans money |
