fermentation A process that breaks down sugars to make energy without using oxygen
aerobic Process of making ATP WITH oxygen
anaerobic Process of making ATP WITHOUT oxygen
carbon dioxide The gas that is a product of cellular respiration. We breathe it out and plants breathe it in
oxygen The gas that all organisms need for cellular respiration
glucose The sugar that is broken down during cellular respiration
water A product of cellular respiration; humans will sweat it out.
