Science is? Predictive, there is no proof, but evidence rather. Relying on quantitive and qualitative data
Major part of science is? It is falsifiable
What is a hypothesis? A testable, falsifiable prediction that is subject to experimental testing
Theory is? A well substantiated explantation based rigorous testing
A law is? A statement that describes a constant & universal relationship observed in nature. Often based on mathematics & applies along the universe
What is the first requirement of evolution? Evolution by natural selection
What is the second requirement of evolution? Fitness, producing and reproducing
What is the third requirement of evolution? Heritability, ability to pass down traits
Inductive reasoning is? Draws on generalisations, inferring patterns
Deductive reasoning is? Draws on specific conclusions, using statistical data
What order does deductive reasoning go? Theory, hypothesis, observation, & confirmation
Quantitive is? Numerical, quantifiable, T-tests, descriptive statistics
Qualitative is? Characteristics, qualities, subjective data
Conceptual models use? Qualitative steps
Mathematical models use? Quantitative steps
