Growth Mindset
| Term | Definition |

| Challenge | Something that needs great mental or physical effort in order to be done successfully and therefore tests a person's ability |
| Mixed Mindset | A state of mind where basic abilities have room to be developed, but it's ok if they remain unchanged |
| Setback | Setback |
| Intrinsic Motivation | Internal form of motivation. You strive towards a goal for personal satisfaction or accomplishment. |
| Improve | To make or become better |
| Perseverance | Continuing in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition. |
| Sabotage | To intentionally destroy, damage, obstruct or ruin something |
| Motivation | The act or process of giving someone a reason for doing something |
| Fixed Mindset | A state of mind where basic qualities, like intelligence or talent, are simply traits that cannot be changed. |
| Skills | The ability to do something well, usually gained through training or experience |
| Growth Mindset | A state of mind where basic abilities can be developed through hard work and dedication |
| Obstacles | A thing that blocks one's way, or prevents/hinders progress |
| Determination | The ability to stick with something. It lasts for a prolonged period of time |
| Courage | Mental or moral strength to persevere through fear or difficulty |
| Feedback | Constructive criticism or information returned about a result |
| Extrinsic Motivation | An external form of motivation (ie. Trophy, money, food) |
| Mantra | A positive statement or slogan repeated frequently |
| Success | The favorable or desired outcome of a task or act |
