Stomach Absorbs water and minerals, regulated by splicters and contains gastric juices
Pancreas Makes enzymes and insulin and releases basic solution into small intestines
Liver Makes bile to break down fats and breaks down old RBCs as well as stores glycogen
Gallbladder Stores bile to small intestine and is filled with gallstones
Small Intestine Absorbs nutrient molecules from broken down food and has Villi to increase surface area
Gut Flora Makes vitamens and makes farts
Rectum Poop is stored
Anus Contractions push through splinters in this part to get rid of waste
Mechanical digestion Breaks down food into small chunks to increase surface area
Chemical digestion Breaks down food into small molecules by enzyme chemical reactions
Enzymes Removes solid waste
Lumen Inside space of a tube structure such as the intestine
