Autotroph A producer; makes it own food
Producer Another name for an autotroph; a living thing that makes its own food for energy
Consumer Another name for a heterotroph; a living thing that has to eat its food for energy
Heterotroph A consumer; cannot make its own food
Omnivore A type of consumer who eats both plants and meat
Carnivore A type of consumer who eats only meat
Herbivore A type of consumer who eats only plants
Decomposers A living organism that breaks down dead or decaying things
Mutualism A relationship where both organisms benefit
Ecosystem Different types of living organisms and all the nonliving factors interacting with each other in an area
Parasitism A relationship where one organism is harmed while another benefits
Population One type of organism living together in an area
Cell Basic unit of life
Organ A bunch of tissues working together with the same goal
Organ System A bunch of organs working together with the same goal
Tissue A bunch of cells working together with the same goal
