Nucleic Acids and Protein Synthesis

What is the function of mRNA? mRNA contains the recipe needed to build RNA or a protein.
What is the function of tRNA? tRNA picks up amino acids floating in the cytoplasm and delivers them to the ribosome for translation.
What is accomplished by transcription? Transcription is the process of producing RNA from the code in DNA.
