| Asexual Reproduction | One parent creates two identical offspring and the same amount of DNA |
| Sexual Reproduction | Two parents create offspring that are similar but different from the parents |
| Centrioles | Pull apart chromosomes during anaphase |

| Interphase | Most of the cell cycle exists in this phase, cells grow and duplicate DNA and organelles |

| Telophase | Nucleus starts to reappear, chromosomes start to unwind, cytoplasm starts to seperate |
| Cytokenesis | Cytoplasm seperates by forming a cleavage furrow in animal cells and a cell plate in plant cells |
