Darwin observed different beaks in finches. Why do you think they varied? They varied to best meet the needs of the birds (so they could get more food)
What does the phrase "survival of the fittest" refer to? Those best adapted to their environment will survive and reproduce.
Homologous Structures similar structures that related species have inherited from a common ancestor
Genetic Variation allows natural selection to occur, and this increases the ability of organisms to survive changes in their environment and ultimately reproduce.
