Describe Borrelia 1. causes lyme disease (carried by ticks) 2. symptoms: target-shaped rash 3. if not treated -> fever, neurological/heart damage
Describe Treponema 1. T. pallidum - Causes syphillus (STD) 2. there are some in humans that do not cause diseases
What are Bacteroides and Fusobacterium? 1. Normal floura in human 2. anaerobes 3. common in large intestine 4. opportunistic organisms (wound infections)
