Phenotype The appearance of a trait in an organism
Alleles A gene pair that determines a specific trait
Mendel The father of genetics
Cloning Using body tissue to produce a new organism with identical traits
Sexual Reproduction involving genes from 2 individuals
Asexual Reproduction involving only 1 parent
Pedigree A record of the offspring of several generations
