Products of photosynthesis - glucose and oxygen
Chloroplast - The organelle that performs photosynthesis
Chlorophyll - A green pigment in chloroplasts that absorbs energy from sunlight
Photosynthesis - Occurs in plants and other autotrophs Captures energy from the sun Stores that energy in glucose
Autotrophs - Also called producers Can do photosynthesis
Heterotrophs - Cannot do photosynthesis Must eat other organisms
