| polymer | a substance that has a molecular structure consisting of a large number or similar units bonded together |
| carbohydrates | Made of Carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. Living things use carbs for short term energy. |
| monosaccharide | one sugar |
| glucose | (C6,H12,O6)- simple sugar used by living things |
| cellulose | makes cell wall in plants |
| starch | how plants store glucose |
| glycogen | how animals store glucose |
| proteins | ( shape of the structure, primary, secontary, tertiary and quaternary ( unfolded to very folded)) |
