What is the lymph system? The lymph system is a network of vessels and organs that help to remove excess fluid and waste from the body. It also helps to fight infection by transporting white blood cells to areas where they are needed.
What are the functions of the lymph system? The functions of the lymph system include: Removing excess fluid and waste from the body. Transporting white blood cells to areas where they are needed. Helping to fight infection. Producing lymphocytes. Storing blood.
What is Lymphedema : This is a condition that causes swelling in the arms or legs due to a blockage in the lymph system.
How can I keep my lymph system healthy? There are a few things you can do to keep your lymph system healthy, including: Eating a healthy diet. Getting regular exercise. Getting enough sleep. Managing stress. Avoiding smoking and excessive alcohol consumption.
What is leukemia? Leukemia: This is a cancer of the white blood cells.
What does the Thymus do? This is a small organ located in the chest that produces T cells, a type of white blood cell that helps to fight infection.
What does the spleen do? This is a large organ located in the abdomen that stores white blood cells and filters lymph fluid.
What are the main organs of the digestive system? Mouth, Esophagus, Stomach ,Small intestine, Large intestine
What are the functions of the digestive system? The functions of the digestive system include: Breaking down food into nutrients that the body can absorb. Eliminating waste products from the body. Providing the body with energy. Protecting the body from harmful substances.
What is heartburn? Heartburn: This is a burning sensation in the chest caused by stomach acid backing up into the esophagus.
What is indigestion? Indigestion: This is a feeling of fullness, bloating, or discomfort after eating.
What are ulcers? Ulcers: This is a sore that develops in the lining of the stomach or small intestine.
