Tendons can become aggravated when the carpals (a tunnel of bones) and the ligaments in the wrist narrow, pinching nerves that reach the fingers and the muscle at the base of the thumb. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Contains the nucleus and other organelles of a neuron Cell Body
Receives signals from sensory receptors or other neurons and passes it to the cell body Dendrites
Conducts nerve impulses, carrying the signals away from the cell body Axon
